Turning the calendar page is always a great time for retrospection and, fortunately, the SF Giants Prospects twitter feed has dug through a month of performances and done the hard work for us! So as we move into the heart of June, let’s take a quick look back at the top performances from May, curated by the Giants organization itself:

This kind of look back also offers me the opportunity to double-check myself. How good of a job am I doing at keeping you all abreast of the trends in the system? Certainly nobody’s beaten the David Villar table harder than me the last 12 months, and I feel like I’ve done a pretty decent job cataloguing the rise of guys like Shane Matheny, Brandon Martorano, Carter Aldrete, and Victor Bericoto lately. There are a few relief arms here that have mostly escaped my mention though, so to Taylor Williams, Clay Helvey and Julio Rodriguez, my apologies! I promise to do better going forward!
