We saw a little bit of everything in the system last night—strong pitching, clutch hitting, another grand slam, and even some fine Giants’ torture. A wonderful night of baseball. This is Jeff, Roger’s brother bringing you this edition of Minor Lines. It could be a bit confusing, as it’s being published under Roger’s byline. That’s because Roger started this post and wrote the DSL section down below. The rest is from me as I pinch hit for him today while he’s in the air on his way to spend some time with the Giants’ DSL affiliates.

HITTER of the NIGHT: Oliver Tejada (ACLG), 4-5, 3 RBI
PITCHER of the NIGHT: Josh Bostick (Eug), 7.0 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 12 K, 0 BB

Josh Bostick was simply dominant for the Emeralds, going seven strong, throwing just 83 pitches, and turning a 5-0 lead over to the bullpen—which turned out to be just barely enough. Oliver Tejada led the attack for the ACL Giants in their late innings assault of the ACL Angels.

I know this is Minor Lines, but what could be more exciting than this?

Don’t forget, from now through July 16 I’m running a “Hooray for the DSL” sale to celebrate my trip to the Dominican — 25% off your first year’s subscription, either annual or monthly! It’s a great time to become a There R Giants’ subscriber.
