Well! Everywhere in the org but where I was, there were dingers, there were big innings. Everywhere but where I was, there were offensive explosions right from the start! Everywhere in the org but where I was, there were wins!

(I’m not going to take this personally, but where I was, there was a 9th inning, two out, game-tying home run for the bad guys that prevented an organizational sweep and added a very unwelcome hour onto my drive home. Blech!)

Still, if you didn’t drive four hours to watch a blown save, it was a pretty prosperous night around the farm, highlighted by big swings from each of the top three position player prospects. We even had a little more player movement. So, let’s get at it — if you like offense, Minor Lines is the place to be today!

HITTER of the NIGHT: Drew Cavanaugh (Eug), 4 for 5, 2b, 3b, 4 RBI, 2 R, 1 BB
PITCHER of the NIGHT: John Michael Bertrand (Rich),
5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K

But that doesn’t mean we can ignore the other elements of the game. It’s all important, you know!
