For the very first time as a professional — but not, we assume, for the last — Bryce Eldridge got to feel what it was like to jog around the bases at an easy trot, enjoying the sweet dopamine drip of dinger damage! We’ll see that historic homer a little later, but for now….I think we can all agree that young Bryce has clearly identified the source of Wade Meckler’s first year success is in the mustache — and is emulating his elders in superior fashion!

I know this is a Giants-centric site, but it’s not every day I get to lay eyes on the top prospect in baseball! But that’s exactly what I believe I got when 19-year-old Jackson Holliday (yes, Matt’s kid) strode into the batting cage for Bowie. So, let’s enjoy ALL the kids trying to perfect their craft at this crazy difficult game, Giants and non-Giants alike (and, yeah, the Orioles have another star in the making)!
