Lots of morning baseball to start the week, and holy cow, the guys did not wait long to start creating highlights! While you folks were contemplating the eternal dilemma of Wheat, Corn, or Rice Chex, the guys were already getting at it.

Dylan Beavers, the San Luis Obispo kid who went on to star at Cal-Berkeley, was apparently so impressed by Grant McCray cutting him down at the plate in the top of the 1st that he decided to engage in a little tit for tat game, stealing his own run away in the bottom of the 1st. Tip of the cat to the guys getting it done in the field!

OK, folks! You have my attention. With that kind of play before my readers have finished their morning coffee, the week to come should be terrific!
