Two things can be true at the same time: 1) El Paso is one of the most home run friendly ballparks in America; and 2) Holy Hell! Tyler Fitzgerald and Casey Schmitt! The top two hitters in the Sacramento lineup have gone on a Texas-sized rampage of legendary proportions. It may be easy to get balls out of that stadium once you get them in the air, but I don’t see anybody else in the lineups whacking homers every other second! Like basically everybody in Triple-A, Fitzgerald and Schmitt both probably have good cause to believe they could or should still be playing in the majors, rather than mucking about in the bush leagues. And these two guys are taking their frustrations out on some baseballs! It’s been quite a sight to see.
(Also, probably shouldn’t hang sliders there).
