Friday is traditionally a fireworks night at minor league ballparks across the country, and it seemed to light a fuse in several members of the Giants’ organization this weekend. Led by Bryce Eldridge, Friday was a night of big performances and big dingers throughout the organization — culminated, of course, by Wilmer Flores’ extraordinary game at Oracle.

HITTER of the WEEKEND: James Tibbs III (Eug), 5 for 13, HR, 3 2b, 3 RBI, 3 SO
PITCHER of the WEEKEND: Carson Whisenhunt (Sac), 7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
