Gonzalez, Level, Following Hype with Hope
SF Giants Minor Lines, June 16, 2025, Plus Week 11 Stats Review
Yesterday really was the calm before the storm, as there was minimal activity throughout the farm system — even more minimal than normal, as rain affected play in the Dominican.
Still, what action did take place gave us the chance to appreciate a couple of growing talents at the bottom of the system, as Josuar Gonzalez and Jhonny Level are both continuing to show the skillsets that have us all (as well as the Giants) pretty excited about their futures.
As for pitching….well, there wasn’t a ton of that. But no worries, we have plenty of that on display at the very top of the organization most nights. I did find a pitcher of the night, though — he faced two batters, and struck them both out. Crown his ass, in the immortal words of Dennis Green.
HITTER of the DAY: Josuar Gonzalez (DSLGB), 3 for 5, 2 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB
PITCHER of the DAY: Johan Rodriguez (ACLG), 0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Let’s quickly skip through the Minor Lines, then get to this week’s Stats Review.
