It's a Rare In-Season Version of Camp Notes (plus actual games that count, too)!

There was a game this weekend and I went! I don’t really know who won or what the score was, because I wasn’t paying attention to that. But nobody was keeping score anyway and that wasn’t the point of the event. Instead, it gave professional reps to players mostly new to pro ball without having to activate them onto an official roster, and it gave me the chance to put eyes on a big bunch of those newest Giants. And when I put eyes on guys…you all get eyes on them, too. That’s the way There R Giants works! So today for maybe the first time ever, I have an in-season Camp Notes edition, while also getting around to coverage of the weekend’s official activities. Sounds like it’s an Even Bigger Monday than normal!

Plus, we get the biggest strikeout performance of the year and a couple of huge RBI days at the lowest run. Sounds like a fun weekend, doesn’t it?
