Well, my game in Washington was a little less than what I hoped for! Sometimes, baseball is unfulfilling and anticlimactic! But that’s life. You pays your money and you takes your chances. So it goes.
Let’s see what happened around the rest of the system while I was otherwise engaged. Hm….seems like a lot of runs were scored…..a LOT of runs! And not all necessarily for the good guys. So, a lot of smaller repeats of the game I enjoyed.
There was one guy who had a heck of a night though. Down in the Inland Empire, there was a case of dominance! For you lovers of velocity (like me!), we’re also going to find what I believe is the hardest pitch thrown in the Giants’ farm system all year in today’s post.
HITTER of the NIGHT: Donovan Walton (Sac), 4 for 4, 2b, BB, 2 R
PITCHER of the NIGHT: Josh Bostick (SJ), 6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 10 K
So, let’s collect our thoughts, gather ourselves together, and dive in to the action!
