With the other affiliates currently listing in the standings a bit, who knows if we’re going to see anything like this again this year, so let’s enjoy the moment, and give a hearty and well-deserved Congratulations to a plucky bunch that has surprisingly dominated its league this season — and even more surprisingly, became the first San Jose team in 10 years to clinch a first half championship.

And if that’s not enough to celebrate, I’m sure that Kyle Harrison is quite pleased to have gotten the goose-egg out of his Win column. The Giants’ top prospect finally made it to the 5 inning mark last night and notched that first W for the year.
