The Future is Coming!
While the full 2022 Futures Game rosters won’t be announced until today, MLB’s Jim Callis gave a sneak peak by dropping four names from each roster early, and one of those names dropped to pique fan interest was MLB Pipeline’s #27(!!!) prospect, our own Kyle Harrison. The young lefty was, naturally, pretty stoked to hear the news!
We’ll see if Harrison will have any org-mate company to join him this year, but at the very least, he’ll be playing in the House that Vinnie Built! And one wonders if the fast-rising Harrison might not be invited to start the game for the NL side? We shall see!
As we put June in the books, the Giants’ official SFGProspects Twitter account is back to remind us who put up the best performances of the month. I love that they put together these graphics every month! Helps me keep my season narratives on track. Have I been missing anyone? Anybody on here surprise you?
Now let’s turn our sights on the month that’s in front of us and get to the Lines!
(By the way, I appreciate the feedback yesterday! I’ll try to keep a balance going. I think the “Lessons Learned” approach might be good for my Monday posts going forward, while during the week, I’ll try to weave the night’s specific events together with longer lasting trends).

PITCHER of the Night: Nick Avila (Eug), 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, Save (12)
