Kyle Harrison picks up first Double A win with six strong!

We got a little further clarity yesterday on Marco Luciano’s situation. It’s not what we might have hoped for, but at least it’s specific information. The exceptionally talented 20-year-old is down for the rest of this month with a lower back strain. The next time we see him will likely be in some ACL games in July.

Update on top prospect Marco Luciano: Luciano was placed on the injured list with a low back strain and is currently rehabbing in Arizona. He will not participate in any baseball activity for at least the next two weeks.

Hopefully, this won’t disrupt his season too much (it probably creates a high probability that we’ll see Luciano in the Arizona Fall League again this year). I do think it’s important that Luciano gets some significant exposure to Double A before this season is done. Hopefully, by at least August 1, he’s up at the big boy level. It’s been too long since we’ve seen this swing:
