That’s right! The Giants’ stirring — and slightly teeth-gnashing — victory on the shores of McCovey Cove wasn’t the only excitement around the organization last night. We’ve been dipping our toes in the minor league waters this week with Sacramento’s soft open, but now it’s time for the full Opening Night 2022 on the farm. One game’s not enough, jack, you better make it four! We need to multitask here! We had fireworks, we had comebacks, we had terrific pitching, we had…rain! Of course, we did!
And best of all for a Friday night, we had teammates chasing each other around the field in glee!
