On the day that President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi floated the “sell” word, Marco Luciano continued to show some signs of turning his season in a positive direction after a month of scuffling in Sacramento. On Tolbert and Copes yesterday, Farhan said of Luciano, “since he’s been [in Sacramento], we haven’t really seen the offensive output that we usually like to see if we’re going to bring a guy back up and give them an extended run.” Zaidi also noted that he watches nearly all of Sacramento’s games to see first-hand “how guys are playing and the kind of at bat quality they’re having.”
If Farhan tuned into the game right after that conversation, he might have smiled at what he saw. Maybe you will, too!
