It was a very good night in Richmond! I mentioned yesterday that I hoped I’d get my first ever sight of Reggie Crawford on the mound last night — and that hope was, indeed, fulfilled. Even more, I got to chat with him beforehand and found him every bit as engaging, thoughtful, charismatic, and HUGE, as his reputation suggests. You’ll be hearing — and seeing — that conversation in the coming days, and it’s worth waiting for, if I have to say so myself!

HITTER of the NIGHT: Carter Howell (Rich), 3 for 4, 2 2b (5), 2 R, 2 RBI
PITCHER of the NIGHT: Esmerlin Vinicio (SJ), 3.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
