Well, let’s just ignore what’s going over there with the big club and see what news we can find down on the farm. And on the farm, we’ve got incoming!
In addition to the trade acquisitions, we also had our very first sighting of a 2022 draftee last night. In a continuing effort to shore up shortstop depth in the upper minors, the Giants also announced that they had signed Drew Jackson, a one time Mariners’ draft pick (go figure) whom Farhan Zaidi once acquired while GM of the Dodgers in a minor trade back in 2017.
But the real excitement last night came down in the desert from a simple 1 for 2 night with a single.
It’s been a long, long time, but.…he’s back! And it couldn’t come at a better time.
