Shout out to Michael Papierkski, who became the 22,668th player in MLB history this weekend! One of our unofficial duties here at There R Giants is to catalogue every big league debut with the Giants — Papierski is #6 on the year, following in the footsteps of Yunior Marte, Heliot Ramos, Mauricio Llovera, Jason Krizan, and Sean Hjelle. With Curt Casali on the concussion IL, it seems Papierski will be around for a bit, so hopefully he’ll get that first big league knock sometime soon. In the meantime, let’s see if we can clean this up, huh Baseball Reference?
Let’s get to the Minor Lines! But I must warn you — there’s some cringe-worthy lines coming from a somewhat sloppy weekend of ball on the farm (maybe they were just picking up on some vibes from the big brother).
