Let’s start the week right! There R some Giant champions!
We’ll get to that thriller in a moment. What a weekend! When I left you on Friday, we were on the precipice. The ACL Championship series was about to start and elsewhere….the new guys had just come to town!
With so much going on and so many bodies in motion, it’s almost hard to know where to focus our attention these days. So, let’s play a little Monday morning game of “Old Guys/New Guys,” and see if we can find the stories that will continue to fascinate us at each level at this late stage of the season.
Because after all, the new guys shouldn’t get all of our attention, right Brett?
Brett Auerbach had the #1 play on ESPN Sports Center’s Top 10 segment Saturday night, and also, I’m pretty sure, the defensive play of the season in the Giants’ org (and I’m definitely including the major league team in that). Crown its ass, as Dennis Green might say! And that’s not the only highlight for Brett this weekend. Score one for the old guys!
