There were Baysox fans at The Diamond today cheering for Richmond to beat Erie and keep Bowie’s postseason hopes alive. There are Erie fans in Akron sitting behind home plate cheering for the ‘Ducks to beat the Baysox to send the SeaWolves to the playoffs. Weird day!

I did not drive to Akron to sit behind home plate and cheer for the stupid BaySox to win their stupid game against a stupid team that was already eliminated and thinking mostly about their getaway plans, but I sure was thinking it! Stupid BaySox!

We are going to Erie. 6:35 first pitch on Tuesday night at UMPC Park for Game 1 of the Southwest Division Series.

Sigh. They’re going to have to go the long way round to a playoff victory.
