It’s tough to match up to the drama of a no hitter, but in the aftermath of Wednesday night’s history, we still had plenty of interest on Thursday night. The Sacramento lineup got to test itself against a star Dodger in rehab, and the presence of Walker Buehler did nothing to silence some sizzling River Cats bats. Meanwhile, up in Pennsylvania, Ryan Murphy was in total command, as he gave what may have been his most complete performance since that sensational 2021 season.

So let’s hop to it and roll into the weekend by enjoying the more subtle charms of a Thursday eve.
