San Jose Giants Swept Out of Playoffs for Third Straight Season

I must apologize for my series of miscommunications over my intended podcast episode with Joe Ritzo this week! First, I told you on Tuesday to expect it before the Game One opener — only to have to abruptly cancel our appointment later that day. Then yesterday I told you it wouldn’t be coming at all — only to have an open time in our mutual schedules suddenly open up last minute.
If you did listen to my conversation with Joe, I think he did a great job of setting up what the basic strategic challenges were for the Giants, and you were well prepared for the game. And, if you didn’t listen to it last night, well you still can! And I think Joe does a great job of highlighting the journey and transformations that this year’s squad went through, so it’s well worth a post-mortem listen today.
