Shame on me! I got so busy editing videos for you yesterday that I completely forgot to comment on Yunior Marte’s big league debut! Just like I totally forgot about Yunior when compiling my Top 50 prospect list. Man, Yunior’s going to think I really have it out for him! But that just won’t do. A debut’s a special moment in a player’s life and deserves to be celebrated! This is a guy who’s gone from minor league free agent to big leaguer over the past fifteen months, and immediately pumps some serious velo life into the Giants’ pen.

It was just one day, but expect to see more of Yunior as the year goes along. The same is true of Heliot Ramos, who also heads back to Sacramento following two starts vs LHP. Congratulations, young men! A life’s journey accomplished — now the really hard part: sticking!
