I want you to really picture it in your mind — the strangest, most shocking, and absolutely dumbest way for a baseball game to come to its conclusion. Got it? Hold that answer in your mind.

Before we get into today’s Minor Lines, heart-breaking news this morning as there are multiple reports that former Giants’ pitcher Reyes Moronta has passed away in a traffic accident. Just awful news to start the week. I’m sure all of our thoughts go out to his family. I’ll never forget the first time I saw — or heard — Moronta pitch in the Giants’ minor league camp:
