Sometimes Everything Comes Up Roses, Sometimes It's Hard to Find a Rose
SF Giants Minor Lines, April 23, 2025
And today’s post is one in which it’s hard to find a rose. Great way for me to break in, isn’t it? Bryce Eldridge was out of the lineup after his debut complete with a homer in his first at bat the day before. All teams come up short, including one team succumbing after having a 3-run lead with four outs to go. And on the big stage, the Warriors got blasted and lost Jimmy Butler. Good thing for Doval. Almost looked like Walker was going to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory again. Not a lot to hang your hat on today. We’re looking for more and better in today’s games.
One rose I see is that Bo Davidson was activated from the injured list by the Emeralds and picked up a hit and an RBI. Good to see Bo back on the field!
HITTER of the NIGHT: Marco Luciano (Sac), 2 for 5, 2 runs scored.
PITCHER of the NIGHT: Trent Harris (Rich), 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Let’s take a look at Bo picking up a ribbee on his return to the field.
Not exactly a scorcher, but we’ll take it. Keep it up Bo.
