Strong starting pitching by Kyle Harrison and Drake George led the River Cats and San Jose Giants to victories, while the Flying Squirrels went down to defeat once again, with the opposite occurring, being buried early under an avalanche of runs in the first two innings. In Spokane, it was the home run ball that led the Emeralds to victory, including a mammoth shot by Bo Davidson.
In other news, bonus pools were announced for all 30 teams for next year’s international signing period, which begins on January 15, 2026. The Giants are in the lowest group, along with Houston and both New York teams. Teams lose $500,000 of international bonus pool money for signing a free agent who had a qualifying offer from his previous team, or lost $1 million for such signings if they were over the competitive balance tax threshold. The Giants were docked $1 million for their signing of Willy Adames. You can see the full list here. Baseball America is a subscription site, but this may be a posting available to all.
