Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope you’ve got plenty of leisure time and loved ones surrounding you on this pleasant holiday — with perhaps a modicum of yard work and brats mixed in.

Let’s try something different today! We’re at the traditional quarter pole of the season (actually, we’re much closer to a third of the way through the year, though “quarter pole” is more fun to say). So howsabout for today’s roundup we’ll zoom out to the eagle-eye view of things, and focus on some big picture trends for each team. Who’s been thriving? Who’s been scuffling? How are the rotations doing? Who are the secret heroes of bullpens?

Let’s eschew the trees (mostly) and check out the forest on today’s Minor Lines: a Quarter Pole Lessons Learned! Buckle up … it’s gonna be a long one!
