The Playoffs are Here!

Yesterday ended the regular season for the A ball teams and this week is the final one for Double A. Triple A basically runs the entire month, allowing the Giants to continue recalling, optioning, selecting and releasing to their heart’s desire, but for the other levels, we’ve reached the point in the calendar where seasons could be ending in a matter of days.
That probably means we’ve left the days of “lessons learned” behind us for the year. But we’ll take a look at the top performances for the weekend, and get things set up for the playoffs, which begin, for one level at least, tonight!
Hopefully, in the coming days, we’ll see a lot more of this:
HITTER of the Weekend: Wade Meckler (SJ) 7 for 14, HR (1), 2b (11), 2R, 4 RBI, BB, 3K
PITCHER of the Weekend: Kyle Harrison (Ric), 4.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K
