I started yesterday’s post with a pretty big bummer of a health update, with Bryce Eldridge heading to Papago Park for the next 3-4 weeks to rehab a tweaked hammy. This probably doesn’t balance the scales out much, but I am pleased to report today that my orthopedist has given me clearance to resume my baseball activities in the next couple of days, which is a load off my mind (and I appreciate all the supportive sentiments you’ve sent my way). Most important for our purposes here at There R Giants, that means that my eagerly anticipated upcoming trip to the DSL is back on the menu!

I’m planning on traveling to the Dominican Republic in two weeks, and will be allowed into the Giants’ Felipe Alou Academy facility for a week’s worth of DSL activity. And yes, I am super stoked to get this positive news! It probably doesn’t replace Bryce Bombs for you folks, but at least you should have some decent Josuar video coming your way in the not-too-distant future! You gotta appreciate the gifts you have and not obsess over the ones you don’t.
