So far in the Top 50:

  • Just Missed List

  • #50-46 (Lisbel Diaz, Hayden Wynja, Alix Hernandez, Carson Ragsdale, Ben Madison)

  • #45-41 (Jose Cruz, Tyler Myrick, Eric Silva, Nick Zwack, Josh Bostick)

Well then! That short sight of Hunter Bishop taking some winter hacks seemed to have gotten the juices flowing for some of my readers. And I get it! I’m a lover of hacks myself (even the baseball kind!). It’s “the crack of the bat” that leads to “the roar of the crowd” after all, and that indisputably logical chain of events does not get lost over in my little prospect corner of the baseball world.

But, as I went into last time, there are solid reasons why the Giants’ system should be a little overloaded towards the pitchers just now — even putting aside the current nature of the industry, which relies heavily on large swarms of big arms that come in waves. Still, I promise to get you a few highlights that including swinging and NOT missing in today’s post. Indeed, the bats are back — batS, in fact, as we have a whole two of them mixed in today. Yes, we are still mired in a bit of a reliever run, but at least I can promise you a bat swung in anger before the end of today’s group of five.

Come with me as we break into the wonderful world of the 30s, as There R Giants’ 2024 Top 50 continues….
