Top 50 time is here! So far we’ve looked at:
The back end of this Top 50 is always the area where I have the most angst. It’s the cliff over which players I really want to keep safe on my little list are in danger of falling! I can tell you that right this minute, what is nagging at me most about my Top 50 list isn’t perfecting that muddled 3-8 range at the top. No, what’s on my mind right now is the pain in my gut caused by my last-second cut of Ismael Munguia. Why did I do that?! I love Munguia! I’m going to regret that one — I just know it!
(Editor’s Update: regret already deeply settling into my flesh and my bones).
Sigh.
So, yes, this first installment is, in some ways, the most important to me. It’s kind of my baby. The place where I want to nurture guys and keep them safe. Show them support. Show them I believe in them despite some obstacles!
But numbers are relentless things. They never slow their pace as they count away your options and, no matter how you try to avoid it, eventually you run out of them and the end comes for you.
