Tomorrow is Opening Night for the 2022 minor league season, so today’s the very last time we’ll focus on the past for the foreseeable future. But I can’t walk away from the There R Giants Top 50 without one small retrospective. Every prospect ranking is a snapshot in time and, while I spent the entire winter writing these profiles up, my rankings were actually mostly completed last fall (with some minor wiggling here or there along the way). With the passing of time, new information, and a week or so of time in minor league camp under my belt, it’s natural that that snapshot should change somewhat.

So herewith, a few mea culpas to wrap up the Top 50.
