This spring in the Northwest League is dreary. More rain on the way. My fear that half the Eugene team would graduate to AA before I could see them in summer ain't going to happen. I guess that's a silver lining.
I shared a "Thumbs Up" with Hjelle when I yelled his name at the Thursday Reno game. He is not the Bean Poll I saw in San Jose! How likely is it that he comes up to fill in if any of the MLB starters goes down? Although, I do like Sammy Long in that roll.

sorry we're not getting to see Ryan Murphy. hope he makes a full recovery according to the team's timeline.
