HONORS
OF Vaun Brown named California League Player of the Week
About Last Night:
Eugene’s game vs Vancouver was suspended in 4th, leading 5-1
The Emeralds’ bad weather has been constant, ceaseless, unrelenting. After finishing Sunday’s shortened game in a downpour, the rains were right back at it last night, stopping things in the 4th. Eugene’s players seem to respond well to being soaked, however, and had jumped out to a 5-1 lead. That total included a double from Hunter Bishop to kick start a three-run 1st, and Casey Schmitt’s league leading (when the game is completed later this week anyway) 6th home run.
And give it up for Wil Jensen, who always seems to perform:
Today’s Scheduled Starters:
Sacramento (Ortiz) @ El Paso (TBD), 5:35 pm, MiLBTV
Richmond (Brickhouse) @ Harrisburg (TBD), 3:30, MiLBTV
Eugene: OFF
San Jose (Black) vs. Lake Elsinore (TBD), 6:30 pm, MiLBTV
Get ready for another week. Hopefully, we’ll see more of this kind of stuff!
Excellent as always. Thanks.
Are you not a "WHIP" fan or is it just the DB you use?
Shane Matheny in on your Richmond roster but not on Fangraph's Roster Resource. And he is high on the performance list. Has he gone some where?
