2025 Depth Charts: Wrapping It Up

What Have We Learned?

So far in this year’s Depth Charts series, we’ve looked at:

• Shortstop

• First Base

• Left-Handed Starters

• Center Field

• Catcher

• Third Base

• Right-Handed Starters

• Corner Outfielders

• Second Base

• Relief Pitchers

We have now covered pretty much every player in the organization over the last few weeks! You should all now be able to pass a pop quiz! Please take out your pencils and put away your notes….

Ok, no quiz! But I think it is time to think about what we’ve learned in this year’s series. So let’s round this entire series up with a few big picture lessons, assess organizational strengths and weaknesses, and put a bow on the top to bottom picture before we move on to this year’s Top 50.

I’m going to dissect the big things that have popped out at me as I’ve gone through this series, but let me hear what the Depth Chart series has you thinking about in the comments below. How does the organization shape up for the near- and medium-term future from the perspective of January, 2025?
