I apologize for poor information. I'm not sure exactly why I was thinking that AFL games are free to attend. They do cost a nominal fee! Games are about $11-13 each, though if you're planning a long stay, you can get season passes for $155, or $115 for seniors.

I forgot to ask my question: while reading your observations on Davidson and his hot streak, I briefly thought of Vaun Brown. If you were to compare the two at their best, how are they similar and how are they different?

Well let's compare the two players at San Jose. The huge difference, of course, is age and experience. Brown played in San Jose as a 24-year-old who was a fifth year MBA senior at a small school but still a four-year school. So there were always questions about whether he was simply a physically mature older player bullying youngsters around. Davidson was an age appropriate 21-year-old with his only experience coming at a tiny JC. And given that difference, the fact that Davidson struck out significantly less than Brown in Low-A certainly throws the hit tool in his favor. Brown was much bigger, stronger and more physical, though Davidson is a compact, strong looking athlete as well. He just doesn't have thighs that can't fit in regulation uniforms. Brown I would also say is a little faster than Davidson, and certainly uses his speed more aggressively in games.
