Headed to our home in Prescott, AZ and looking forward to catching some AFL action this fall. Thanks for your efforts!

Loved your reply to my question on the international class. Thanks! Really my only comment is your phrase "a somewhat middling season in Eugene..." As we know, the two guys in your first paragraph, Bailey and Matos both had 'middling' seasons in Eugene and that is being very charitable towards Matos' season. I've taken to just marking time until the guys get moved to Double A on forming any opinions on Eugene players. Arteaga and McCray? I'll hold off.

Anyway, great info on the international stuff!

Bailey's year from an offensive POV is actually a little harder to get one's arms around this year. He got off to a hot 14 game start in Richmond, but was actually not very productive in Sacramento in his short stay there and, after a hot start, has been a well-below average hitter in big leagues. Of course, just keeping one's head above water in MLB is an accomplishment for a guy who hardly played in the upper minors, still, his offensive future is a pretty significant question mark in my mind. (I guess Matos' is, too, although for different reasons)
