That's certainly a happy memory! A couple of years ago I saw Neal in the Giants minor league camp where he was coaching and chatted with him briefly. I was amazed to discover looking him later that he wasn't even 30 yet. Injuries really really suck. Neal and Marcus Sanders and those troublesome shoulders.
Is it just me or do Toribio’s bat speed and body/athleticism look much better than as they are typically portrayed in write ups?
His bat speed looks excellent! I haven't gotten to see him yet in person unfortunately to weigh in on how he moves defensively
Not sure on a lot of these names, but with Stewart and Pill, guessing like 2011 Fresno.
Fresno is my guess as well, and I was going to say 2012.
I was actually going to go 2010 because Neal, but I don’t think he made AAA til later and Stewart missed out on rings.
Chris Stewart is the giveaway here because he was only in the Giants org for one year and it was a memorable year!
And I remember Neal was traded away midseason for Orlando Cabrera.
