Interesting note about the reasoning for Ramos, Bailey, Luciano leading off. I hadn't put two and two together when I saw the batting orders but giving them as many AB's as possible makes a lot of sense.

Swineys velocity caught my eye. I know the trend has been to draft guys who don't have high end velocity and to work with them on adding a couple mph if they can. Harrison comes to mind as an example. It doesn't sound like at this point Swiney has added any juice on his fastball since he was drafted. Is that correct? Have you heard anything about what if anything they're doing to try and and add some mph there?

Thank you

Thanks for the bonus report Roger! I was actually thinking about this the other day - I could understand not wanting to post six days a week, but it would lighten the load on Monday mornings.

I remain a Wyatt skeptic and a Fitzgerald fan. It’ll be interesting to follow their development.

Swiney and Ragsdale certainly have injected a degree of hope among those of us wishing for more SP prospects to dream on. At this moment I think I’d rank them as Harrison, Corry, Ragsdale, Beck, Teng, Swiney, and Frisbee. What are your thoughts?

And I think I’ve seriously underestimated Armani Smith.

I think I'll avoid thinking about rankings until after the season to see how everything shakes out. I think it'll take several turns through rotation before guys really get the rust shaken off.

It remains to be seen what exactly the Monday posts will look like, you're right about lessening the load! But I'm also trying to reserve weekends for family time (given all the late night's in Richmond lately)! So I'll see how the balancing act goes as we move along.
