As Sarah Langs would say, baseball really is the best:
I don’t really know how or when #ForeverGiant Matthew Boyd made his way to the Guardians organization (I also didn’t know that he was distantly related to Bob Feller!), but this was a beautiful little piece of baseball kismet for my first half organizational All-Star.
Lots of bats came out of the break hot this weekend! We had multiple multi-homer games. We had players with one huge game and others who spread hugeness about the three days. Why, we even had a minor league All-Star Game! Isn’t that nice? Lots to get to today, so let’s flex those Minor Lines muscles — oh, they’re a little sore and stiff from disuse!
