NBC Sports Bay Area’s Alex Pavlovic drops by the pod to talk early buzz from the Giants’ spring camp. We talk about people sleeping on Kyle Harrison, all the young arms in camp, the chances that the Giants capture a generation of Korean baseball fans, and we get into a surprising amount of Tyler Fitzgerald love!
Great interview - thanks for this. I find it encouraging that someone as connected to the organization as Alex is seems to view many of the questions surrounding the team in the same way that I do. I’m pretty excited to see how this year turns out.
Alex/beat writers are excellent. Happy you’re pushing them on expectations. Fan expectations/frustrations are driven by ownership/front office. Larry’s letter said: “You are right to expect a lot from us” … “expect to be in the postseason every year and compete for a World Championship.” Farhan has repeatedly used the same wording. EXPECT.
