This week’s guest is the host of the RizzoCast and youngest journalist on the Giants’ beat, SF Bay’s Steven Rissotto. Steven has built up a substantial list of journalistic accomplishments already at the age of 19, including covering the Giants for the second half of their NL West title run in 2021. He stops by to talk about the young players who may make an impact on the 2022 version of the Giants, including Tyler Beede, Sammy Long, Joey Bart, and more!
What a bright and well-spoken fellow. And 19? Dang. Ok, in this guy's field (journalism?) he is probably not yet at his peak but definitely a great prospect. Say the equivalent of Double-A with an OPS of 1.000? At 19. Wow.
Another great episode. I'm not so sure Bart gets the lion share of the catching duties to start the season. It's tough being the man to follow the man. unfair as it is there's a sizeable and vocal portion of the fanbase that already doesn't care for Bart based off his 2020 debut. If he gets off to a rough start I'm concerned the pressure on him is going to be quite intense.

Another good one...you guys covered a lot of ground!
Hopefully Long can get a more consistent role and settle in, I really like that curveball when he's on.
This team can use some speed...and Dugger feeds the need! I'll be rooting for him big time.
