In your view, what’s the best lazy comp for Webb from Giants’ starters history?

Also, it’s way too hard to make comments on the site here. That may be depressing the response volume somewhat.

I didn't know that Lyle -- what makes it difficult? (I'm sure my experience is very different from yours). If it's something that can be fixed, I'd definitely be happy to pass along. As for lazy comps, I kind of want to say Mark Grant though that didn't go so well. Or possibly William VanLandingham, though that also didn't go that well. Pitching is so different now though it's somewhat hard to say.

Ooh - Mark Grant; nice one! What about John Burkett as a best case scenario?

Burkett was more of a sinker/ground ball guy coming up as I recall, while Webb is more traditional power pitcher, which is why I thought of Grant and VanLandingham

Well, this seems to be an exception - I am able to reply directly to you here. Although that may be because I left the site up in a window, went elsewhere in a second window, and then came back here to see if you had responded.

MCC is the only place I’ve ever commented, so that colors my view. I could bookmark the site, go to it, check to see if there were any articles I wanted to read, and if there were I could comment directly. Here, I often try but get a message that says, essentially, “we’ll send you a link to follow so you can get in to comment.” That isn’t always convenient, depending on the circumstances.

Wow. I didn't know that. That stinks. If you hit the Leave a Comment buttons that I put in is that what happens?

Well, I was able to reply after seeing your response as an email. But I don’t think I can just call up your site, find an article I’m interested in, and leave a question or response.

That's disappoint to hear
