I didn't realize just how good a season that Jose Ramos was having for Giants Orange in the DSL. I'm hoping you'll have a post-season review of the DSL, with your guesses on who is mostly likely headed to Arizona next season. Thanks for these recaps/reviews, Roger!
Hard to say. A lot of it has come in the form of a sky high walk rate, which I think we've learned in the DSL isn't necessarily predictive of anything in the future. His power production has actually gone down significantly from his first year, though the average did rise about 30 points. He's an interesting guy to follow. And yes, I will definitely be doing post-season reviews for all of the teams this year, along with guesses as to who is headed to the next level. I guess i'd better start planning out some content for the winter, now that I think about it!
Genovese, Auerbach, Rincones, Armani Smith...that's a lot of High A success that didn't make the leap to AA with near the amount of success. Only Tyler Fitzgerald breaking out. Must be a huge jump. Frankie Tostado totally forgot about him.
