This is great - thanks for the deep dive! Man, it would sure be nice to have some of this info on our minor leaguers. But it certainly seems like our 3-headed Hitting Instruction Staff is making a difference.

And since you used a color wheel analogy, let me ask you what you think the three primary colors are? Artist and scientists have different answers! (Sorry, color theory is one of my pet subjects).

I do wonder if the move to eliminate Minor League Baseball as a separate entity is ultimately going to make this data publicly available? My understanding is that calibration is still a pretty significant factor across the country's minor league stadiums but this really does seem to be one of those areas where making MiLB a department of MLB could pay dividends to consumers. As for color wheel, I think Giants are predominantly Orange, combining Hard Hitting (Red) and Patience (Yellow). HOWEVER, clearly Solano is an aqua-marine and Dubon is just sky blue.

Us tv types will tell you that the 3 primary colors are red, blue, and green. Artists will say it’s red, blue, and yellow. Ask an artist what you get when you mix all possible colors together, and the answer will be black. Ask a scientist, and the answer is white.

I know -- RGB scale has always messed with me! Green's obviously not primary!
