Interesting thoughts on who might get moved at the deadline. I csnt see them moving Davis but hes under club control through next year and would be 32 in 2025. Not really the kind of profile this FO has handed out big deals to. I really fascinated by how this infield thing plays out the next couple of years.

I should have just punted the question and said NOBODY MOVES! But I'm here to serve. I don't believe for a moment they're moving crucial major league inventory because teams trying to win just don't do that (and those teams that try the "buy and sell" things almost invariably end up failing at it in terms of short term competiting. The only guy I can really see them moving off major league roster is Junis because they're pretty over-stacked with long guys

I'd be surprised to see a trade from the big club as well. The infield situation is still interesting none the less. Hopefully the kids in the farm system keep playing well and make the decisions difficult.

Even tho I suggested one I don’t really believe it. Randy, McCray, maybe Black. Something like that for some pitching help

Sharing a college stadium is not ideal. Is this a long term setup or is the team in wait and see mode for MLB to finish shaking out the minor league infrastructure?

On Rae's question regarding international players skipping the DSL in the past versus now, isn't one factor the post pandemic organizational player limits? In Luciano's day there were no limits so the organization could place a prospect wherever he appeared ready to play. But now when a player (like Arias) is assigned to ACL isn't it the case that he must take up an organizational roster spot which means another prospect must then be placed on the IL or released?

Yes there is currently a 180 player limit for domestic reserve list. It’s not quite true that there was no limit prior to 2021 but it was both bigger and not overly enforced. If my records are accurate (probably not but within one or two) they currently have 175 players on the list. That’s definitely a factor though the business side of the game would no doubt determine that you decide what’s best for the guy you invested millions of dollars in first and figure out the ramifications of that later
