Obviously a lot has to happen with his strength, conditioning, and stuff for that to come to fruition but there's definitely something that interests there
Your guest was quite interested in the fellow and I'd never heard of him. Intriguing.
As an aside, thank heavens the minor leagues will be taking place while the MLB is futzing around. Even so, I'm kinda disappointed the High-A Eugene club with their stacked roster will not be visiting the Portland area early in the season. Heck, if some of them get off to fast starts, I might not get a chance to see them live before they move up... Sigh... Thank heavens you are here for us, Roger!
Someone's not reading closely! I talked about Manzano a LOT during the DSL season and I think Joe Salermo mentioned him on the podcast last summer as well. He's an interesting kid.
Mikell Manzano, a skinny (listed at 140 pounds) pitcher that you used the phrase 'could be a monster,' caught my ear. A hidden gem?
