This is the ninth of a series of depth charts, taking a comprehensive look at each position across the entire SF Giants’ organization. So far, we’ve looked at:

Really coming along! Anyway, it’s so nice to see you all again! Hope your holidays were as magical as ours were (non-baseball fanning division of holidays, that is! I know how the fandom part of your Christmas went). Flew in from Munich BOAC last night and ready to push this off-season to some new heights in the coming weeks! Yes, those fabled Top 50s are just about ready to roll. Just a few more depth charts to clarify, maybe a look at what they all mean, a little diversion into the international free agent class, and then everything should be ready to count down.
So let’s get back to business. Today’s piece is a match set with Monday’s look at the left-handed starters in the system, and like its predecessor, this is an area of relative paucity on the farm in terms of sheer quantity. Together, these are the two shortest, or I suppose I should say “shallowest” depth charts that we have to offer, which makes its own sort of commentary. We’ll make up for that on Friday and next Monday when we tackle the right-hand counterparts — my keyboard is already starting to smoke in preparation for those novella length posts.
Today though, we have a nice tidy list with so few names they could almost fit on a single pitching staff — indeed, we can assume the Giants will continue to scour the minor league FA list or major league waiver wires in their continual efforts to supplement this particular spot on the roster. For now, though, let’s take a look at whom they’ve got to play with…
