Ah, well. The posts must go on! Ordinal rankings pause for no obstacles. But today I’m going to take a slightly different tack from the usual Top 50 posts. I am going to talk about why the Giants are so excited about their 2nd round pick. But along the way, I’m going to take a little stroll through history to get a sense for why — beyond the normal reasons — it really is crucial that the Giants get some positive development stories from their talented twosome at the top of the 2023 draft. It’s time for a little history lesson in today’s Top 50 post.
