This is the twelvth of a series of depth charts, taking a comprehensive look at each position across the entire SF Giants’ organization. So far, we’ve looked at:

  • Catcher

  • First Base

  • Second Base

  • Shortstop

  • Third Base

  • Corner Outfield

  • Center Field

  • LHP Starters

  • LHP Relievers

  • RHP Starters

  • RHP Relievers

And so, we come to the end of our journey. And what a journey it was — coming back from a Christmas market in Salzburg, I had to scramble to rewrite the shortstop post before it published in the wake of the news that the Giants had signed Carlos Correa! A week later, that post was scheduled to become unlocked for my free subscribers — but it was already so obsolete by that point I canceled it. Sorry about that freebies! But I figured you probably weren’t in the mood at that point to be regaled by my thoughts on how well Correa’s talents fit the team!

Anyway, now it’s time for the 60,000 foot overview — what have we learned in this process (besides never auto-scheduling publication of posts before heading off for an extended European vacation?). I think if we look at the full picture, it’s pretty easy to see how the soon-to-come Top 50 will shape up. Here’s what we have at this point:
